Inspired by the works of Norval Morrisseau, students painted a picnic table called "Family". Demonstrating the bright bold yellows of summer and the bonds of being together as a flock. This table blossomed as did our young artists. "Cherries" is the garbage can that won "People's Choice Award". Using glass nuggets as cherries, it brings together the delicious taste of a most favored summer fruit. Thank you to the Town of Aurora for hosting such a wonderful event but most of all thank you to the inspirational and spirited artists who created these two incredible pieces.
